Months of sacrifice pays off
After going to Herzing College here in Winnipeg for about nine months, Lisa has finally finished her curriculum and graduated from the Legal Assistant program they offer there. She completed a month-long internship at the Law Courts in February and has now been offered a position with the law firm of Petersen King. They are a firm specializing in family law and are located in the downtown area so we should still be able to car pool to save a bit of money.
Later in the spring the law firm will be moving to Osborne and River, right in the heart of Osborne Village. This will be nice because we’ll still be able to car pool if necessary, and parking will be free for days that we can’t.
Things are sure looking up!
